CarbonCoach was born from a simple frustration: climate change feels overwhelming, and most people don't know where to start.
We noticed that while many people want to reduce their environmental impact, existing tools were either too complex (requiring spreadsheets and calculations) or too vague ("be more sustainable"). There was no middle ground—no tool that made carbon tracking simple, personalized, and motivating.
So we built one.
CarbonCoach combines behavioral psychology (gamification, streaks, achievements), climate science (IPCC emission factors, peer-reviewed research), and modern UX design to create an app that people actually want to use daily.
Our goal isn't perfection—it's progress. Every small action counts. Every car trip replaced with public transport matters. Every plant-based meal makes a difference.
